Later Years - 1958 to 1988
John Joe and Annie settled down to a life of farming. During this time a new bungalow was built next to the existing two storey house. They also raised three children: Joseph, Imelda and Jacinta.
There wasn't any television and entertainment was created by visiting friends and relatives. Many parties took place due to christenings, communion, confirmation, weddings, or birthdays and John Joe was always called upon during these ocassions to sing, or play the music on his accordian.
